Why Royal Woods?

Royal Woods is a different concept of accommodation. Its villa style combined with five star facilities ensure a very rewarding experience. Its location, just 10 mins from the city centre, and central to the Gold Coasts’ main attractions, guarantee you will not miss anything while still being able to relax in peace & quiet

How many villas does RW have?

Royal Woods has 45 villas. Each villa is an interconnecting set of a one bedroom and a two bedroom suite. If you book a 3 bedroom villa, the whole villa is yours.

Do the villas have cooking facilities?

Yes. You will find a fully equipped kitchen in every unit. There is a fridge, oven and hot plates, microwave, dishes, cutlery, and everything you need for your cooking time.

Does RW have a restaurant?

As our units contain a fully equipped kitchen and we are a villa style type of accommodation, we do not have a restaurant. However, if requested, we can arrange breakfast hampers or daily cooked breakfast to be delivered to your room.

How far is RW from the Gold Coast?

Royal Woods is ON the Gold Coast. Surfers Paradise, which is the busy city centre of Gold Coast, is just 4 km from the resort.

How far is RW from Gold Coast’s main attractions?

Royal Woods is around 10 minutes drive west from Surfers Paradise and about 15 minutes north-west from Pacific Fair and the Casino. We are about 20 minutes south-east from Movie World, Wet`n’Wild and Paradise Country, and 25 minutes south-east from Dream World. We are also about 15 minutes south-east from Sea World and 30 minutes north from Currumbin Sanctuary. Note, however, that these times will vary depending on traffic conditions.

How far is RW from the beach?

We are located about 10 minutes drive west from Surfers Paradise, the nearest beach location.

Are there any golf courses near RW?

Yes, Royal Pines is a 36 holes championship course and is located under 2 minutes drive from here. You will find over 20 other courses around, for a variety of levels and budgets, under 45 minutes from us.

How do the RW shuttle transfers work?

Our shuttle runs daily under a predetermined schedule. Our schedule varies depending on the season to accommodate the needs of most of our guests during that period. Please, find more information on the shuttle page

Where can I buy groceries?

There is a Bi-Lo grocery store in Benowa Gardens shopping centre, 2 minutes drive from here. There, you will also find several restaurants.

Does RW have non-smoking rooms?

Yes. In fact, most of our rooms are non-smoking. However, we have a few suites and villas that are smoking rooms.

Does RW have disable-friendly villas and facilities?

We have many villas and suites that are on the ground flood, are very spacious, and do not have any stairs; however, we do not have disabled-specific facilities. Please, advise your needs upon booking.
