MAINTENANCE / HANDY PERSON
Royal Woods Resort in Ashmore is seeking the services of confident individuals with excellent communication skills and pleasant personality skills to join our team. We have a positions available for a casual maintenance / handy person . The candidates will be required to have meticulous grooming, a can do attitude, be willing to work and must possess a clear understanding of providing service with a smile to our guests.
KEY SELECTION CRITERIA
· The position is physically demanding and we require an experienced, enthusiastic and energetic individual.
· Organizational skills, a high standard of work and a thorough eye for detail is a must.
· The successful candidate will have a strong work ethic and take great pride in their work and personal presentation.
· The successful candidate must be multi-skilled, self –motivated and enjoy working in a busy environment.
· A minimum of 12 months pervious experience is essential.
· Duties include facets of internal and external building maintenance relevant to a busy resort including carpentry, plumbing, tiling repairs, painting etc.
· Experience in maintaining pools will be highly regarded.
· The role entails:
· Daily maintenance issues for guest rooms and common areas.
· Vacuuming pools & spas ,clean public area as required.
· Other ad hoc jobs related to maintenance.
· Efficiency – working within a team and working quickly while maintaining high standards.
· Applicants must meet the following criteria:
· Must look presentable at all times.
· Must have own transport.
· Previous experience in a similar role
· Available Monday to Sunday An eye for detail Deadline driven
